Understanding pitch and perimeter

When specifying the pitch of a building element, provide the angle of its surface, ranging from 0 degrees to 180 degrees. Visualise this as a rotation: 0° represents a flat surface facing directly upwards, and 180° represents a flat surface facing directly downwards.
